Legit this has been a long time coming. I remember in the Caribgamer whatsapp group chat Joyestyk was talking about this webtoon for a hot minute. So I left her geeking over it. Then the day came I said let me check it out. OMG thing was EPIC! Instantly hooked.
So lets get right into to it. For all of those who are purest and want a 1:1 translation let me say, they did an amazing job. I finally understand how manga readers feel.
Sung Jinwoo is a weak hunter and just like in the webtoon you get that idea very clearly. You understand he needs money and will do what he has to make ends meet. There is a class system and our protagonist of course is starting from the bottom. For all those isekai lovers out there you will feel at home with this one. From the jump we are presented with what an S-Class hunter can do. I was glad to see that even the blood and gore haven’t been tuned down.
Without spoiling it the pace isn’t slow at all. I couldn’t stop looking at the quality of the animation. Even when they are just standing it is almost like the webtoon came alive. Don’t talk about the atmosphere with the tone of the music! Got me hyped wanting to see more!
2024 start off nice. We got our belly full with Jujutsu Kaisen. Hopefully Mappa Studio sort out cause…. those employees need a break. A1-Pictues bringing the heat and I have full confidence we will be entertained.
